Kick Movie Review - A Worth Watching Movie

By Abhishek Yadav

Salman Khan will rock again this Eid ,Weekend going to be a bench mark ,Salman's star power again worked.

Kick compromises all the histrionics that come with Salman Khan- full action ,Jabardst Comedy,Romance and melodrama

Story Line idea-   Devi lal singh Meaning son of a goddess  (played by salman Khan) is an aimless youth who cannot keep a job -32 of them actually !! because he doesn't get a kick out of it. Instead he gets his adrenali rush by helping rush by helping a friend elope and informing his unsupported to be mother in law at the same time or by beating the crap out of hooligans who mess with young girls in ice cream parlors while he tries to impress shaina (played by jaqqline fernandez).

Pretty shaina plays hard to get as,like all decent girls, she does not want to be tried to a good for nothing fellow, who is supported in his antics by equally nutty parents. As expected their Romance is short lived .Singh realizes he cannot be what she wants him to be nor does he wants him to see her unhappy and he is off to find the real kick.

Further you will get to know when you watch the movie.you don't have to think much its a light story just enjoy it.As the film ends with dialogue " Mere baare me jyada mat sochna, dil me aata hun ,samajh me nahi" means "Don't try understanding much, just love me" so salman khan fans love him they don't think much about the storyline they just go and show the star power of salman khan to the world.he is just like that ,people love him in the same way.

Direction - Kick may be sajid Nadiadwalas directorial debut and the remake of some movie but like all khan movies this is set to break Box office records as trade pundits are predicting going beyond rs. 300 Crore million mark..we predict this movie will cross rs. 75 crore mark in just 3 days weekend only after that it will grow n grow,so u can think what this movie gonna do in coming week

Starcast and Acting - Salman Khan ,jacqline fernandez,Randeep hooda,Nawazuddin siddiqui, Jacqueline who makes her first appearances as a lead actress,is incredibly dazzling, and moves likes a majic, she is competing the katrinas dhoom3 dance moves and that's magically worked.Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are sincere in their efforts.superb acting by them.

Music Direction- Music is the best part of this Movie,Jumme ki raat hai chumme ki baat hai ,allah bachaye mujhe tere waar se,dhangg dhangg dhing dhing dhing, yes this makes audiences in dancing mood as it comes on the screen in a lavish big style, other song tu hi tu har jagah aaj kal kyu hai giving the romantic feel on the chair to each n every person in the theater.,hangover sung by salman khan is looking magically beautiful song in the film and last but not the least the DEVIL song first time nargis fakhri and salman khan hot chemistry in the song and style of Devil it shows.Music is just awesome and topping the charts.

Final Verdict - If SRK and Hritik Roshan are doing Krishh and Ra.one then Salman khan has become next SuperHero after Kick, may be little late but with extra power and effects he creates on the fans.people can applaud, laugh, get emotional and will whistle for sure while watching this movie ,he has exceptional superpowers in the movie.flying through glass buildings, landing unscathed, without a strand out of place,if u want to see again the Robinhood style that is also here in the movie, loot and kill the rich to help the poor,so everything is there just waiting for you to enjoy it.

Stars:-  ✪✪✪✪  We will give 4 stars to this movie.

Movie Preview: The Boxtrolls

 By Shadath Siam

Stop-motion animation is probably the least commercially appealing animation medium. But that doesn't mean anything on the quality. Just in 2012 we got three stop motion 3d animation film and all of them were great even two of them were nominated for the Oscar of best animation film

Though, I found it really disheartening that none of them were commercial success. But this year i believe we are going to get a stop motion animation film that will most likely buck that trend, THE BOXTROLLS.

From the studio Laika who previously made paranormal and Coraline both were amazing, specially the latter one is one of my favorite.

The Boxtrolls story is based on the book 'Here the monsters!' by Alan Shaw. The story revolves around some trolls like creatures called the boxtrolls who live in the underground crave and collect trash. Suddenly they found an orphaned boy named eggs and raised him.

There are currently two released trailer and both are brilliant. The animation looks great, the visuals are breathtaking and the concept for both the trailer are outstanding. The movie will be directed by Anthony Stacche and Graham Annabel and music by Danio Marianelli. the film is currently scheduled for 26th September of this year, the same weekend when films like Hotel Transylvania and cloudy 2 were released.

Most anticipated Bollywood Films of 2015 (Part 4 & Finale Part)

By Shadath Siam

Welcome back! So we are going to end our ongoing list! It's time to check out if any of your anticipated film have missed the chart.

Most anticipated Bollywood Films of 2015 Part 1

Most anticipated Bollywood Films of 2015 Part 2

Most anticipated Bollywood Films of 2015 Part 3

 3. Bajirao Mastani:

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's dream project that he is practically trying to made throughout his entire carrier. His original dream cast Aishwariya Rai Bacchan and Salman Khan isn't there this time and we have nothing to do excepting dreaming how great that version would be.

But at least we have deepika and ranveer, fresh off from the huge success of SLB's last film. and 'Ram Chahein Leela' girl Priyanka Chopra has been roped for another female lead as the first wife of bajirao. so its actually the ram leela team again. With SLB's great imagination this film gonna be 'epic'

But i'm really worried about the budget of the film, since all of the director's previous film were too expensive. Nonthless, we have to wait till the next X-mas to know what he is going to bring to us.

 2. Fan:

Whenever Shahrukh Khan try to do something different, most of the time it brings something fresh and new. Just remember Swades and Chak De India. This is what he is probably trying to do with his next project Manish Sharma's 'Fan' under Yash Raj films banner.

Just look at the filmography of the director, you have to agree with us the film 'fan' isn't going to be a non-stop action masala film and will be a complete departure from the actor's recent films. Actually we don't have a ton of news about the film. Even the lead heroine isn't confirmed yet.

Beleiving that the director has the capability to take such a huge project that he is hardly used to, we hope the film will deliver what SRK's fan want from him.

1. Mohejodaro:

We don't know if this film will be released next year, but it's a more personal list you know. So, Hrithik Roshan's next film after bang bang is the most anticipated film for me whatever or whenever it will release.

Historical epic is a genre that is hugely popular but rarely made in bollywood. And now we are talking about the director who brought to us last two great historical drama of bollywood, laagan and jodha akbar. Specially the former was even nominated for an oscar.

I know, the director ashutosh gowarika's last to films weren't commercial success, still they are great films specially khele hum ji jaan sain and this time he is going to replicate 'mohenjodaro' one of the first civilised cities in the world.

(absolutely right) there's no doubt the scale of this film will be huge. The producers are bringng experts from hollywood to make a world class film And remember HR's award winning performance in Jodha Akbar..... i just can't wait.... finger crossed. No leading lady has been finalised yet but who care's we have our won greak god.

And it's end here. Hope you guys enjoyed the list. Your kind feedback or suggestion is highly appriciated.

Top 10 most anticipated Bollywood Films of 2015 ( Part 1)

 By Shadath Siam

Yes i know, we haven't finished 2014 yet. But isn't it really interesting to talk about films that we have known will be released next year.

It's been a long tradition in Hollywood to fix up the release date before the film is completed and since holidays and breaking records are becoming more and more important, Bollywood is following the method of early release date. Just look at the release schedule of Bollywood films of 2015, you can not help but surprise date about half of the release date has been booked already. Just before starting remember some points. The films here are not only written up by there box office but also keeping in mind there directors, critical acclaim the film might got and star cast.

And last but not least there is actually eleven film on the chart because there is a legitimate chance that at least one of them will not release on there scheduled date. So, let's the countdown begin....

10. Mary Com Biopic:

Yes, we know its a women centric film but didn't films like Fashion, Heroine, Queen, Dirty Picture, Kahaani, English Vinglish prove that its not a problem at all.

Priyanka Chopra & Mary Com

Actress Priyanka Chopra, director Omang Kumar, producer Sanjay Leela Bhanshali all are trying to push the movie to the next level.

The makers have recently announced that they are pushing the release date from 2nd October just to give the film an international film

9. Shuddhi:

The whole world goes ga-ga over the news that Karan Johar have finalized Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor khan for Shuddhi. But very unfortunately both opt out latter for specific reasons.

Salman khan Kareena Kapoor Deepika Padukone & Hrithik Roshan

After that a lot of names have popped out including Ranveer, Deepika, Salman khan but nothing is finalized yet. Still its one of the most anticipated movie of 2015 and already been scheduled for the next Christmas holiday.

This weekend in movies Bollywood: Humshakals with Box Office Prediction

By Shadath Siam

This weekend we're getting three Saif Ali khan simply in one movie. Director Sajid Khan is releasing his fifth movie with Humshakals . Sajid khan had an awesome track record until 2013. His debut film Heyy Baby next film Housefull and its sequel Housefull 2 all were super hits. So he was almost one of the top most wanted director in Bollywood. And then came Himmatwala. One of the biggest disappointment of recent time not only critically but also commercially that ended his dream run. Fortunately, Humshakal is looking like it has all the element to become an instant hit.

Stills from the Movie

The promo and songs are super fun with slapstick comedy everywhere. Though Sajid khan's lucky muscot Akshay Kumar is missing, Saif Ali khan fill up that nicely and add Ritesh and Tamanna, that's a nice pair. But the most important positive side for the film is its situation in schedule. It's been quite a long time a big budget comedy film had been released, add still successful but unable to live up its huge expectation 'Holiday' .

People are ready for a big budget commercial film.

Box Offilce Prediction :

Humshakals First day : 14 crore

Humshakals Weekend : 48 crore

Humshakals Lifetime Collection : 110 crore

A simple but heart warming film on Bollywood "Filmistaan"

By Ishrat Chowdhury

There are many films we have seen comming out of bollywood  about Indo-Pak relationship. Some are melodramatic , some are patriotic and some are bad. But this time , satellite pictures pvt. ltd. , shrinagar films pvt ltd. and utv motion pictures brought us a simple well made film  "Filmistaan"

Though the film has no established actors, is made on a shoe string budget and tries to spread a message of a universal brotherhood without the usual melodrama. It should find favour with all Bollywood buffs and some of whom live and breathe Bollywood.

In bollywood , lead actor sunny want to be a actor and heart throb star who works as an assistant director . He is kidnapped mistakenly  by pakistani terrorists while on one of his assignments as AD shooting a documentary with a foreign crew at the Indo-Pak border. The story has some hilarious moments as Sunny intimates different heroes and sings popular songs. The chemistry between sunny and the villagers as well as terrorists develop slowly and beautifully as people realize that we all have the same DNA and even man made borders cannot change the fact.

A great effort by first time director Nitin Kakkar on a shoe string budget. A fun and interesting story , brilliantly written dialogues and moments . The film relies too much on actor rather than the script but they luckily matched up. A long drawn final act takes away from letting it be a masterpiece .

After all the pros and cons , the film worked so well because it is not a melodramatic film. The lead actors are new and rest of the villegers seem to be non actors which make the film more realistic.  A definite watch and a film of worth.

Is Caller Tune from Humshakals really copied from Bengali song Soniye tu Janiye Tu ?

By Bappa Debnath

I have been listening & reading the news from morning that Humshakals song " Callertune " is copied from  Bengali song " Soniye tu Janiye Tu " .  Rishi Chanda The composer of Soniye tu Janiye Tu claims that Callertune is similr to his compoosed song Soniye tu Janiye Tu .The song is from a bengali movie titled Khokhababu. Rishi Chanda said the makers of Humshakals should give him credit for the song otherwise he will take action against Humshakals  makers . Himesh Reshammiya the music director of Humshakals has not clarified the matter yet .

After listening to the song  Soniye tu Janiye Tu , I hardly found any matches between the two songs . The hook line of Humshakal's Caller Tune matches with the string line of the Bengali song Soniye tu Janiye Tu only , rest of the song is totally different from the Bengali song . Its Something like :

Caller Tune Baby ,  Caller Tune Baby , Caller Tune Baby , Caller Tune .....

Mon Je Haralo , Du hat baralo , Je tor chua Pete ...............

Those lines are the only similarity i found  between the two songs . Himesh Reshammiya who has composed many songs in Bollywood &  very well  known for delivering original & hit songs . He can even turn any lyrics into song instantly as we have seen in Comedy Nights with Kapil  No.1 TV Show of India .

Proof :

Humshakals' to give him a credit for the song

Humshakals' to give him a credit for the song

I don't personally think that Himesh would copy a song from any movie & give it to any film as his own composed song and there is no big matches between the songs . It could be accidentally matched with the Bengali song's hook line . I m waiting for Himesh Reshammiya's clarification . He would better describe what actually  happened with the song  Caller Tune .

Here is the Official videos of both song , Listen to these & you will also understand the similarity between the two songs .

CALLER TUNE :

SONIYE TU JANIYE TU :

Boxoffice Trends of Bollywood in 2014 : The Year of Youngsters

By  Shadath Siam

We're almost in the midst of the year and Bollywood once again shows us that they reserve only the second half of the year for big films, to be specific big superstar films. But do we really need to maintain this rule ? Isn't a great concept, some melodious song and a good marketing is enough for a well made film? Look no further than just the last five months .

So far the most successful film of this year are Two states, Gunday, Hasee Toh Phasee, Main Tera Hero & Highway. Is there anything common at all? Yes, technically all of the films are somehow starring actors or actress whose are just two or three film old.

Photos Source :  Wikipedia

Yes, of course there is more...Yaariyan (a Ridiculously Bad Film), Queen (classic!), Ragini MMS 2, The Xpose and last but not the least Heropanti which actually became the highest grossing film with an absolutely fresh cast. And the future doesn't look less brighter. On the pipeline we have Ek Villain and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The buzz on both of those titles are sky high and almost guaranteed a good opening .

Photos Source :  Wikipedia

And don't forget Dawat-E-Ishq and Kill Dill. So what does it mean ? Shall we stop making films with superstars like Khans, Hrithik or Akshay. Absolutely not. They are the backbone of this industry. We just need to keep our faith on some of these young face .
